Your role as a Inventory Handler at Lowe's is crucial to ensure that customers can obtain the products they require. Responsibilities:

• Providing friendly customer service means being approachable, polite, and helpful whenever customers have a question or concern. This can create a positive experience for customers, which can keep them coming back
• Gather, supply, and renew merchandise
• Following the correct lifting techniques is imperative to prevent injuries while moving or placing products
• Unpacking goods from recently arrived freight ship with safety and care
• Transmit merchandise to the sales area and replenish each department
• Dealing with dangerous materials and replacing broken shelves
• Effective backroom management and taking care to keep all equipment properly charged are crucial tasks that should not be overlooked
• Effective organization and stacking of merchandise is a crucial step towards creating a successful retail store. Employ practical strategies for arranging merchandise—like stacking similar items in groups—to make sure merchandise is front and center for eager shoppers

Requirements:

• Aptitude to interpret and plan for the physical necessities of transferring products for the vast duration of your work shift
• Flexibility for Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Overnight Shifts Every Day
• Physical aptitude to carry out duties that involve prolonged bouts of standing, sitting, and other necessary activities
• Proficiency to lift 25 pounds unaided; able to lift above 25 pounds with or without aid

Travel Requirements:

There is no need for constant travel in this job role, although you might have to go to meetings, trainings, or provide assistance to neighboring stores from time to time.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is highly motivated and possesses a great deal of passion for their work:

• Applicants must be available on an hourly basis, either full or part-time as per the needs of the store
• The essentials of reading and writing, combined with the foundational knowledge of addition and subtraction in arithmetic, serve as building blocks to advance one's academic learning
• To be eligible, applicants must have worked with forklifts or similar equipment for at least three months
• The desired amount of time an individual has worked in a warehouse environment, responsible for inventory management and restocking, is six months
